Red Eyed White Lionhead Doe
This doe came to us as part of a trio of lionheads, who had been kept together in a single cage and had been fighting. She was the dominant rabbit in the cage, and was relatively easy to bring back to health. One buck was so badly damaged that he passed away before we were able to get him help, and the other doe was able to be taken to the Northumberland Humane Society to get the help she needed. Our girl is easy going with people, low maintenance to groom and very sweet. She is calm and quiet, but curious, like all lionheads. Due to her past, she would not be considered a candidate for bonding to another rabbit. |
Anarchy "Ana"
Black English Angora Doe Ana came to us with about 4" of solid mats, and very underweight. At first weigh in, she was 4.5lbs, but once the mats were removed, she weighed closer to 3lbs. Ana is now a healthy 6.5lbs, and is groomed regularly to maintain her thick, woolly coat. Unfortunately, just before she was ready to move to a new home, we noticed she had ear mites, and she remained to be treated. Due to her wool, I was too conservative in her initial treatment, and she needed a second treatment. She will soon be ready to rehome. |
